Discover The Beirut

If you’re craving vibrant Mediterranean flavors in Peachtree City, The Beirut at 1025 N Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree City, GA 30269, United States, is the kind of spot that instantly feels like a local favorite. I stopped by on a busy Friday evening, half-expecting a long wait and rushed service. Instead, I found a warm, relaxed diner atmosphere where the aroma of grilled meats, garlic, and fresh-baked pita set the tone before I even opened the menu.

The first thing that stands out is the balance. Lebanese cuisine is known for layering herbs, spices, and citrus without overwhelming the palate, and that’s exactly what happens here. I ordered the mixed grill platter-tender shish tawook, juicy kafta, and perfectly seasoned lamb-served with fluffy rice and a bright fattoush salad. The chicken had clearly been marinated for hours in lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. That slow marination process isn’t just tradition; it’s technique. Acidity helps tenderize proteins, while olive oil locks in moisture during grilling. You can taste the difference in every bite.

Their hummus deserves a moment of its own. Creamy, smooth, and finished with a generous drizzle of olive oil, it pairs beautifully with warm pita straight from the oven. According to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, diets rich in legumes, olive oil, and fresh vegetables-core elements of Mediterranean cooking-are associated with improved heart health. While I’m not counting calories when I’m dipping pita into hummus, it’s reassuring to know that many menu items lean toward wholesome ingredients rather than heavy, processed ones.

Over time, I’ve learned that consistency separates good restaurants from great ones. I’ve visited this location more than once, and each time the shawarma has been carved fresh, never dry or sitting too long on the spit. The kitchen staff seems to follow a disciplined prep routine: proteins are marinated in batches, vegetables are chopped daily, and sauces like garlic toum are made fresh. That level of care shows up in customer reviews as well. Many diners mention the generous portions and attentive service, which matched my own experience.

The menu offers plenty of variety. Beyond the classics like falafel and baba ghanoush, there are hearty plates for bigger appetites and lighter options for those who prefer something simple. Families often gather around large platters, sharing mezze and grilled skewers. It’s a communal style of dining that feels authentic and welcoming. In fact, Mediterranean eating patterns are frequently highlighted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as examples of balanced dietary habits, especially when meals center around vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains.

Service here strikes a nice balance between friendly and efficient. During one visit, I asked the server about the difference between kafta and shawarma. Instead of a quick answer, she explained how kafta is ground beef blended with parsley and spices, shaped onto skewers, while shawarma involves thinly sliced marinated meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. That small conversation made the experience feel personal rather than transactional.

Location-wise, being on N Peachtree Parkway makes it convenient for both locals and visitors exploring Peachtree City. Parking is easy, and the casual diner setting works just as well for a quick lunch as it does for a relaxed dinner with friends. While peak hours can get busy, especially on weekends, the turnover is steady and the staff manages the flow smoothly. Like any popular restaurant, wait times can vary, but I’ve found them reasonable.

What keeps people coming back isn’t just the food-it’s the reliability. Fresh ingredients, balanced spices, generous portions, and genuine hospitality form the backbone of the experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Lebanese cuisine or trying it for the first time, the flavors feel approachable yet authentic. In a dining scene filled with predictable chain options, this place offers something richer: real recipes, carefully prepared, served with pride.

  • Ordered takeout as the restaurant was across the street from our hotel. The lamb chops were excellent. My wife had the shrimp, which she enjoyed. We would have liked more vegetables with our entrees, but otherwise very good!

  • This place is amazing !!! We came here for my dad’s 70th birthday on 10/22 . Our table was ready as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was not only beautiful - she was also very sweet. She made the best recommendations for us to eat. The appetizer’s came out fast and so did the food. I ordered Brenda’s Snapper and the flavors were everything . I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The ambience was so cute . I felt like I was out of town somewhere . Bathrooms were very clean which is always a plus in my book . We will be back . Oh ! And the music selection was great ! Love a little Blink 182 ! lol

  • Beirut absolutely blew me away! Their menu has a huge variety of authentic Lebanese dishes, and I love that all the beef, chicken, and lamb are HALAL certified — plus they offer plenty of gluten-free options, which is a big plus for my family. I ordered Brenda’s Red Snapper and it was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of vibrant flavor. Easily one of the best snapper dishes I’ve ever had. For dessert, I tried the Baklava Cheesecake and WOW… the perfect fusion of classic baklava with a rich, creamy cheesecake. It was unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend Beirut to anyone looking for truly authentic Lebanese cuisine!

  • Food is very flavorful. Lots of good choices. The tables are tight for the size of the plates plus drinks. The place is busy and lots of activity going on around you. Night date night, but hard to focus with everyone on the move. I need to find a table that is not near the kitchen. The wine was good also. We tried the Krispy Mozzarella and it was very different that deserts i am used too. It was a little heavy for desert. I will not try it again. Definitely will go back for a date night, but will be careful where we are seated.

  • The food at this Lebanese restaurant was absolutely delicious, easily the highlight of our visit. The flavors were authentic and everything tasted fresh. However, the experience was unfortunately soured by the hostess. We arrived around 4:30 PM, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only two tables seated, she immediately asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, she snidely offered us a table outside, which we declined. She then walked to an indoor table and simply stated, "You can sit here. I'll need the table by 6:45." While the cuisine is certainly worth trying and the rest of the staff were very friendly, the poor first impression created by the hostess was a significant letdown. Hopefully, the service at the door improves to match the quality of the food and the rest of the team.
